Is the browser version really free with no limits?

Yes — the browser studio is completely free, no account needed, no download limit. Master as many tracks as you want directly in the browser.

Is my audio private?

Yes. Mastering runs entirely in your browser. Your audio is never uploaded to any server — it stays on your device at all times.

What is the Desktop version?

The Desktop app is a standalone Windows and Mac application that runs the full WaveDisco Studio mastering chain offline. Internet is required once for the initial license activation; after that the app works fully offline. One payment of $25 gives you lifetime access on up to 2 computers.

Can I use the Desktop app on multiple computers?

Yes — your license covers 2 activations. You can install it on your main machine and a laptop, for example. If you need to transfer a license, contact support.

What formats does it export?

The browser studio exports 24-bit WAV — the standard for streaming platforms. The Desktop version additionally supports MP3 at 320 kbps.

What does "learns your sound" mean?

PRISM Desktop includes an A/B preference system. After processing a track, you hear two slightly different versions and pick which sounds better — no settings, just your ear. After 5 choices your personal model activates, starting cautiously. The more you train it, the more confident and precise it becomes: 10 sessions in it already knows your taste, 50 sessions in it sounds like you mixed it yourself. Preferences are saved on your computer and persist between sessions. You can reset them at any time.
