1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using WaveDisco Studio at wavedisco.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

WaveDisco provides an online audio mastering tool that processes audio files locally in your browser using WebAssembly-based DSP. The Service includes features such as loudness normalization (LUFS targeting), EQ, limiting, and audio analysis. The Desktop app extends the Service with offline mastering (no internet required after activation) and additional export options.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

3. Free tier

The free tier allows you to upload audio and download mastered files at no cost, with no download limit. No account or credit card is required. Offline use (without internet) requires the Desktop app.

4. Paid plans & billing

The Desktop app is available as a one-time purchase of $25, processed through Gumroad. Prices are displayed on the Pricing page. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.

• Your license covers up to 2 computer activations (Windows and/or macOS).
• Initial activation requires an internet connection to verify your license key. After activation the app runs fully offline.
• To transfer a license to a new machine, contact hello@wavedisco.com.
• We reserve the right to change pricing for future purchases. Existing licenses are not affected.

5. No-refund policy for digital products

• Immediate delivery & EU withdrawal waiver. You expressly request that delivery of the digital product begins immediately upon payment and acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose your right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)). This waiver applies regardless of your country of residence.
• Try before you buy. WaveDisco provides a free browser tier that lets you master full tracks and hear the result before purchasing. The availability of this free preview is a material reason why no refund right is available — you have already been able to evaluate the product at no cost.
• License key delivery. A license key is considered "delivered" the moment it is sent to the email address you provided at checkout. No refund will be issued after delivery, regardless of whether the key has been activated or used.
• Exceptions (sole discretion). A refund may be considered only in cases of: (a) a verified duplicate charge; or (b) a billing error where no license key was delivered. You must contact support@wavedisco.com within 48 hours of the transaction.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with license enforcement or access control features.
• Use the Service to process audio you do not have the right to use.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service.
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service beyond normal use.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the underlying DSP algorithms.

7. Your content & audio ownership

Audio you upload is processed entirely in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. You retain all rights to your audio content. WaveDisco claims no ownership over the audio you process.

You represent that you have the legal right to process any audio you upload, including compliance with the terms of service of the AI music generation platform (e.g., Suno, Udio) that produced the audio.

Exported audio files may include embedded metadata (such as ID3 tags or RIFF INFO chunks) identifying them as processed by WaveDisco Studio (wavedisco.com). This metadata is informational only and does not affect playback or your ownership of the content.

8. AI-generated content disclaimer

WaveDisco processes audio through digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms. The term "AI mastering" refers to the automated, algorithmically-driven nature of the process. Results may vary depending on the source audio. We do not guarantee any specific outcome or streaming platform acceptance.

Processed files may contain an inaudible spread-spectrum signal (below −60 dBFS) used solely for service integrity verification. This signal contains no personal data and does not affect audio quality.

9. Intellectual property

The WaveDisco name, logo, website design, and underlying software are the intellectual property of WaveDisco and may not be used without written permission.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WaveDisco shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of audio data or profits.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will endeavour to notify license holders of material changes at the email address provided at time of purchase.

13. Severability & entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WaveDisco regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Moldova, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in the customer's country of residence. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings.
